Hi,

I would appreciate some advice, for a newbie.

I am looking for a replacement cable for my headphones.
They need to be 3 metres long.

I am a newbie to this, so some advice is appreciated in my choice, as I do not know what I need.

I have a Fiio R7 desktop streaming desktop player.

My phones are Fiio FT3, there isn’t anything specifically wrong with the standard cable, it’s just that I need a longer cable.
With this in mind , an improved sound quality would be an added bonus.
I prefer to listen to jazz and vocals , so nice midrange would be my main priority.

There are three connects on the R7, but I always use the XLR connection.

Budget of £150

Those use the double 2.5mm cable? The best way is search Amazon or Aliexpress for Sennheiser HD700 cable and those use the same one (I have 3 HD700's :). There's plenty of choices for length and connection on each place. None of them will change the sound, so just shop on length, style, and price for what's available to your area. I've gotten Youkamoo cables on Amazon and Openheart cables for them on Aliexpress and both worked well, complete transparency. The one you might want if it's a longer length is:

The Youkamoo only comes in 1.8m length for the HD700
